Project Description
Marion County Board of Health is requesting bids to clean up a property that has accumulated trash, junk, and other debris. The selected contractor will provide all labor, equipment, transportation, and disposal needed to complete the cleanup.
Property Address: 1756 Stone Street, Knoxville, Iowa 50138
Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, trucks, trailers, dumpsters, and disposal needed to complete the job.
The work includes:
• Pick up and remove all trash and junk from the yard.
• Load and haul all materials away.
• Dispose of all materials at an approved landfill or disposal site.
• Leave the yard clean when the work is finished.
Contractor Responsibilities
The contractor must:
• Have the equipment and workers needed to complete the job.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Carry liability insurance.
• Complete the cleanup within 15 days after being notified to begin work.

Award of bid
Marion County Board of Health will review all bids on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, and will award the job to the contractor that provides the best value and can complete the work as requested. Marion County Board of Health reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award the project to the contractor that best meets the needs of the County. The successful contractor will be notified after bids have been reviewed.
