Marion County Public Health Department (MCPHD) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors and contractors to provide approved in-home radon testing kits. Services shall include the procurement of in-home radon test kits and a system for processing and making test results available to both the homeowners and administering agencies.

Delivery of radon test kits shall be made to Marion County Public Health Department and/or designated partnering contractors or agencies determined by Marion County Public Health Department. Distribution and direct delivery to individual homeowners will not be the responsibility of the selected vendor or contractor.

Marion County Public Health Department is seeking applicants to provide a total of 30,000 in-home radon test kits approved by either the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) or the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB).

Approved testing devices may include:

• Activated Carbon (AC) devices;

• Liquid Scintillation (LS) devices; and/or

• Alpha Track (AT) devices.

Applicants must demonstrate the ability to provide and process radon test kits in accordance with all applicable industry and regulatory standards.
