Marion County Public Health Department (MCPHD) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors and contractors to provide FDA-approved dermatoscopes and an associated educational video and materials to support implementation and utilization among Primary Care Providers.
This initiative is intended to strengthen early detection efforts related to skin lesions, moles, and other potential skin concerns through enhanced screening capabilities and provider education.
Marion County Public Health Department is seeking applicants to provide a total of 1,475 FDA-approved dermatoscopes to the contractor for distribution and implementation within participating healthcare settings.
In addition to supplying the devices, applicants must provide a comprehensive educational component for Primary Care Providers related to:
• Proper use and operation of the dermatoscopes;
• Identification and assessment of skin lesions and moles;
• Recognition of early warning signs associated with concerning skin conditions;
And
• Best practices for early detection and referral processes.
