Christmas Tree Drop Off

The Marion County Conservation Dept. will be providing a Christmas tree drop-off site at Marion County Park near the entrance. Trees will be accepted December 26, 2025, through January 15, 2026.

Please do not drop off artificial trees. Trees should be free of all decorations, tree stands, metal fasteners, tinsel and should not be in plastic bags. Thank you for providing wildlife cover and fisheries habitat for your Marion County Parks.

Nature & Fireside Yoga Series-Snowflake Inspired

Join MCCD and Cairn Yoga and Wellness for an evening of snowflakes and grounding yoga practice. We’ll explore the wonder of snowflakes and the symmetry found in nature while enjoying the warmth of the fire. The session will include a sequence of yoga poses inspired by snowflakes, designed to open your heart, clear your mind, and connect you to the quiet beauty of winter.

Registration is required by January 20, 2026 at 4PM.Please bring a mat or blanket to practice on. Other yoga props will be provided.

This event is part of the Nature & Yoga Fireside Series. We will have a new topic each session. Join us for as many sessions as you would like. The fee is $25 per class; each class will have its own registration.
