Job Summary
The successful applicant must obtain IOWA/NCIC System Certification, attend the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy's 40-hour BASIC course, and the Iowa Department of Public Safety 24-hour BIST course.
Job Duties
- Answers emergency and non-emergency calls
- Dispatches Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to use a computer, copier, printer, telephone, radio, and fax
- Good driving record and must be able to pass an extensive background check, including a criminal history check
