NOTICE FOR MOWING/HAY REMOVAL FROM COUNTY PROPERTY
The Marion County Facilities Dept. is giving notice for the letting of a contract to mow/remove hay from appx. 90 acres of county Property located on the former VA Campus in Knoxville, Iowa. The contract holder may take possession of the hay after mowing the property.
Please submit a lump sum that reflects what you will pay the County for being able to ‘hay’ this property per cutting during the 2025 season, a per bale price is required, ending December 31st, 2025. This bid amount should be on company letterhead or typed on a piece of paper along with your name, address, phone number and copy of your insurance coverage. Submit this bid envelope sealed and clearly marked with; Hay/Mowing VA Bid, in care of Chris Nesteby, to the Marion County Auditor’s office second floor Marion County Courthouse, 214 E. Main, Knoxville, Iowa by 4pm. May 16th, 2025. Winning bidder will be announced and offered the contract.
