  • Hours: Mid-morning to mid-afternoon (approximately 10-15 hours per week)

Job Summary

This is a part-time position to assist the Treasurer’s Office.  This position is covered by IPERS.
 

Job Duties

  • Answer telephones to direct calls or provide information
  • Assist the public with the appointment system.
  • Assist the public with the flow of the office
  • Collect property tax payments
  • Motor vehicle renewal payments
  • Scan documents into the department’s digital storge system
  • Enter information into databases
  • Use of computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing
  • Other tasks as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • General knowledge of commonly used general rules; procedures, operations, practices, or routines such as could be acquired in one year of prior experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products is preferred
