- Hours: Mid-morning to mid-afternoon (approximately 10-15 hours per week)
Job Summary
This is a part-time position to assist the Treasurer’s Office. This position is covered by IPERS.
Job Duties
- Answer telephones to direct calls or provide information
- Assist the public with the appointment system.
- Assist the public with the flow of the office
- Collect property tax payments
- Motor vehicle renewal payments
- Scan documents into the department’s digital storge system
- Enter information into databases
- Use of computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing
- Other tasks as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- General knowledge of commonly used general rules; procedures, operations, practices, or routines such as could be acquired in one year of prior experience
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products is preferred
